We were finishing a basement & in search of an architect. Brad impressed me upon our first meeting as he struck me as very competent and didn’t try & sell me something. Instead, he wanted me to understand my goals, budget and timing and worked up a plan to meet those needs. He was very good at listening to our needs, and was also not afraid to point out where a want could come into conflict with the financial parameters of the project. He was very organized, always easily available by phone or email & always returned calls promptly.
He also helped to save us money in terms of a recommendation he made on an unrelated energy audit/remediation work I was doing with another company. His suggestion (obvious in hindsight) was a much better overall solution than the other contractor had proposed. His knowledge of all the various aspects of construction is to be appreciated.
While we haven’t started construction yet, we’re very happy with the design, construction drawings & overall quality of service. Based on our experience, we would definitely hire him again & would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
