Brad DeMotte worked with us on the renovations to our house, which dates  back to the late 18th century, with subsequent additions. We wanted to totally remodel our kitchen and an upstairs configuration of bedroom/bathroom/sitting room built into what was the old maid’s quarters, as well as other more minor changes, such as opening up our dining room to create more of a natural thoroughfare in the house.
Brad was attentive, listening to our objectives and understanding what we wanted to achieve. What clinched our decision to work with him was that in that very first meeting he got out his pen and began sketching, sharing ideas, and making suggestions, and it was clear that he would be creative and  constructive in approaching any problems that presented themselves along the way, and always with great equanimity.
We were impressed with the thoroughness of his work and the relative speed at which it was delivered. He was easy to work with and never tried to force his ideas or opinions on us.
Seven months down the road and a lot of construction later, we are approaching the last couple of months of work and we are thrilled!!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brad DeMotte to anyone needing an architect who can get involved and feel his way through the project.
